Moelven Norsälven AB to be discontinued

The Board of Moelven Norsälven AB has today decided to close down the sawmill. This is because investment needs in the plant are extensive and will not result in the necessary profitability.

Moelven earns NOK 258 million in the first half-year

Moelven improved its operating result for the first-half year by NOK 53 million compared with the corresponding period last year.

The planing mill Moelven Tom Heurlin in Ånimskog is being absorbed into Moelven Wood Sverige and becoming a production unit under Notnäs Moelven Wood AB.

Moelven acquires DLH's Swedish operations

The acquisition of DLH's Swedish operations will bring strong growth for Moelven Wood in Sweden. Specifically, it provides a local presence in Skåne and the southern parts of Sweden.

Moelven earned NOK 66 million

The Group's operating result for the third quarter dropped by 17.4 per cent to NOK 66 million, compared to NOK 80 million for the corresponding period in 2015.

Operating profit in the second quarter increased to NOK 175 million compared with 48 million for the same period in 2015. It is the group's best quarterly result since 2007.

Moelven earned NOK 215 million from operations

In 2015 the Moelven Group improved its underlying operations by NOK 50 million and achieved an operating result of NOK 215 million.
